A close relative to Torrontes wine, I was glad to find Malvasia Bianca. It doesn't have a "home" like torrontes but it's grown well in many places.

This type of white wine from Argentina has become a favorite. I love Torrontes wine especially for its floral components.

Just drove through Sonoma and discovered that their tasting room has moved. Their horseback rides are still in the same location but be sure to make a reservation! Enjoy their new tasting room on the square in Sonoma!

This late harvest dessert wine from Uruguay was amazing. In fact, I have been enjoying it with friends and with dessert for about a week. Even better, it's unusual. I found this late harvest Tannat at the Cambria Wine Shop. Loved the wine and the shop. If you're ever in the neighborhood, check them out!

If you love Rose, you have to check out this wine and this video. Loved this wine from the color(gorgeous), to the nose, to the taste. I keep thinking about it and that's unusual for me. Rose is not typically my wine.

Updates coming in the next two weeks on Paso Robles wineries, Cambria wineries, and Anderson Valley wineries. Some great pinot noir, riesling and Gewurtztraminer in Anderson Valley. Great blends in Paso, and one of the best wine shops I have ever been to in Cambria. It was both the wine and the staff that made it great. Couldn't help but spend some money there.
