Another Glass of Pinot Grigio?

I hosted a Yappy Hour once and was really surprised to find that the preferred wine was Pinot Grigio wine. I had a Merlot, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Chardonnay but people kept coming back for this.

I had no idea how popular it had become. I was normally a Chardonnay drinker when it came to white wines, but it made me think I should reconsider. The end result was a new appreciation for this wine.

It tastes a lot like beer to me. I think that's because it has a very floral aroma and taste, like beers do. I may not like beer but I can appreciate the nose. I really like the nose on these wines. If your having a problem smelling them, your wine might be too cold. It's okay to warm it up by cupping the glass.

It is not oaky and very light. That's because it is stainless steel aged. A better choice than other whites with seafoods and white sauce pastas.
